Julia Kranz
Online Marketing Manager at Seobility and Project Lead

Julia is an Online Marketing Manager with 5+ years of experience in areas such as content marketing, SEO, performance marketing, email marketing, social media and more. While her degrees in Business Studies (B.A.) and Marketing (M.Sc.) provided her with extensive theoretical knowledge that prepared her for her current occupation, she was able to complement this with valuable hands-on experience when she started working at Seobility in 2017.
While exploring various marketing areas, Julia quickly identified content marketing as her true passion, which is reflected in her current role where she leads several content projects at Seobility, including the Wiki which she has been working on since its initiation. While she started out by writing the first 30+ articles herself, she quickly took on the role of project manager and worked with a number of content freelancers to build this wiki into what it is today - with almost 300 articles in 3 languages, 150+ custom illustrations, and references from more than 2,000 external websites.
On the Seobility blog, Julia handles the entire content creation process from content planning and collaboration with industry expert writers to content review, optimization, publishing and promotion.

Thomas Gareis
Founder and former CEO of Seobility

Thomas is an SEO expert, entrepreneur, and the innovative mind behind Seobility. He holds a degree in Business Informatics and has extensive experience in SEO, marketing, entrepreneurship and web development. In particular, his own website projects, such as “Webwiki”, which he grew to a monthly organic traffic of 300,000+ visitors, demonstrate his skills in driving online visibility.
In 2014, Thomas founded Seobility and grew it from a simple SEO checker tool to an internationally successful SEO software for small businesses with more than 500,000 users and several awards from review platforms such as G2. By applying smart SEO strategies to the Seobility website itself, he managed to grow it to a monthly organic traffic of 350,000+.
Thomas was the one who initiated the Wiki project as he wanted to create a knowledge hub for Seobility users and SEOs in general where they could find high-quality information about all important terms related to SEO. In the initial stages of this project, Thomas was not only the main strategist but also an active participant, reviewing the first articles written by Julia to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness.

Matthias Lugert
CEO at Seobility (former CMO)

Matthias is the CEO of Seobility and a business enthusiast with expertise in leadership, online marketing, SEO, and the SaaS industry. With degrees in Business Administration (B.A.) and Business Education (M.Sc.), Matthias has a strong academic background. Before joining Seobility, he gained valuable experience in online marketing in various positions.
Joining Seobility as a Partnerships and Business Development Manager, Matthias quickly demonstrated his capabilities, ascending through the ranks to become Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Managing Director. In this role, he not only shaped Seobility’s marketing strategies but also led the Seobility customer support team in helping Seobility users overcome their SEO challenges. In 2023, Matthias took over the role of CEO from Thomas and continues to lead Seobility to new heights and achievements.
During his tenure as CMO, he was also a key figure in the evolution of the Seobility Wiki. Acting as a close advisor to Julia, Matthias ensured that the Wiki maintained its overall quality while also achieving its strategic objectives, reflecting his commitment to excellence and strategic development in all his professional endeavors.

Melodía García Tejedor
Senior Marketing Manager (ES and Latam) at Seobility

Melodía is a marketing specialist with in-depth knowledge of the Spanish-speaking market. Prior to joining Seobility, she honed her skills in the digital space by working as an Online Content Manager and Website Project Manager. These roles allowed her to dive deep into online marketing and SEO, gaining extensive experience that she has since brought to her work at Seobility. Today, she has more than 8 years of digital marketing experience.
In her role as Senior Marketing Manager for ES and Latam at Seobility, Melodía has been instrumental in bringing our high-quality content to our Spanish-speaking audience. As the responsible lead for the Spanish version of our wiki, she has overseen the entire content creation process, ensuring that the articles are not only linguistically accurate but also relevant and valuable to our Spanish-speaking users.
While she continues to enhance our presence in Spanish-speaking countries, she also plays a key role in various general marketing projects, contributing to the overall growth and visibility of Seobility.
