The Uni Basel <strong>Intranet</strong> is only accessible from <em>inside</em> the University network. Therefore, please:<br>

<li>> Connect your computer via cable to the network of the University of Basel.</li>
<li>> If using a wireless network <em>inside</em> the University, please start your VPN client.</li>
<li>> Please note: the Eduroam network only provides access to the <em>Internet </em>but not access to Uni Basel internal resources.</li>
<li>> If using a network anywhere else, please start your VPN client first.</li>

<li>> Falls Sie ein Funknetz <em>innerhalb</em> der Universität verwenden, starten Sie bitte zuerst eine VPN Verbindung.</li>
<li>> Bitte beachten Sie: das Funknetz "Eduroam" stellt Ihnen lediglich eine <em>Internet-Verbindung</em> zur Verfügung. Es erlaubt aber keinen Zugriff auf interne Ressourcen der Universität.</li>
<li>> Für sonstige Netzwerke ausserhalb der Universität stellen Sie bitte zuerst eine VPN Verbindung her.</li>
