We talk a lot about how helpful Vitamin C is for illness! so I don’t wish to cause confusion!
Vitamin C is our biggest defence vitamin, but there is another tool in the kit which must always be considered too; Vitamin D.
Daily supplementation is a brilliant support, the mighty kids multivitamin includes an adequate daily dose of Vitamin D3 (the form naturally produced by the body with adequate sunlight exposure).
It’s helpful to know that through times of illness, for short periods, EXTRA Vitamin D can be taken and can be very helpful.
The below dose suggestions are taken from the National Institutes of Health (research partner of the NHS) as recommendations of tolerable upper limits:
7-12months - 1500lU
1-3 years - 2500IU
4-8years - 30001U
9-18 years- 4000lU
Please note: these dosages would be
TOTAL maximum daily intake- including the Mighty Kids Multivitamin, Mighty Kids Vitamin D3/K2 and any other dietary or supplemental sources.
The Mighty Kids Vitamin D3&K2
product is great to have on standby for times you may want to top up with extra, along side the Multivitamin. And remember that the body requires adequate Magnesium to properly absorb and utilise Vitamin D, so make sure that is part of your daily Winter Wellness plan too.
Some Doctors promote the use of
MUCH higher Vitamin D
supplementation (using upto 150,000lU for short 3 day periods in ADULTS to support illness). We have attached a video which explains this further in the Vitamin D highlight.

This is such a complex topic that has so many factors but we wanted to share some information in case you are one of our lovely customers who have seen reviews or comments about Magnesium being an instant miracle cure for certain issues and then feel concerned when this is not the experience you’re having!
We are not looking for instant or easy fixes. We are looking for nourished bodies that are operating the way they are intended to- and this can take a while!

Make in batches and store in freezer!
1. blend sourdough into crumbs then dry out in oven
2.add to the bread crumbs mixed herbs (optional) , quality sea salt & pepper
3.dice chicken breast or chicken thighs into chunks
4.coat chicken in almond flour, then in eggs, then into bread crumb mixture
5.shallow fry in tallow, ghee or coconut oil
