We are pleased to announce our Rollout this year and are soon be able to present you our latest racing car.
After 17 years, 15 racing cars with pure combustion engines and many successes and beautiful moments, it is now time for us to take the next step. Our future and with it our next racing car - the F-118 - will be electric!
But one thing will never change and every vehicle from High Speed Karlsruhe will have it. There is no entry for this in the Formula Student rules and regulations. We don't have a CAD model of it. We don't know much it weighs and can't measure it on the race track. If you ask 18 of our members, you will get 18 different answers. But there is no debate about its existence. After just one lap of Endurance you realize it's the most valuable part of the car.
An indispensable component that you learn to appreciate and love more with every second and that you will never miss in any High Speed Karlsruhe racing car: The soul.

But just because one of the biggest goals of the season has been achieved doesn't mean the rest of the team doesn't have work to do. The hot and stressful phase is now beginning for us. Also the rollout is coming soon, as are the VSV and other submission deadlines. Our members also have to study for the upcoming exam phase.
❤️ We know that most of you are in a similar situation and we'd like to let all our friends and all Formula Student members around the world know: our thoughts are with you. We know how stressful this job is and we want everyone to feel valued in the Formula Student. Through hard work and passion, we turn dreams into reality. We are currently in the process of manufacturing our race car and are working hard every day. Regardless of whether it is the monocoque, wiring harness, the production of aerodynamic components or the milling of components in the manufacturing team. The statics are also hard at work as the first submissions are due soon.
We are working towards our big goal of building the first all-electric racing car in more than 10 years and towards our rollout. When is that? You'll find out early next week, so stay tuned.

The new month of May officially marks spring time. To us this doesn‘t only mean warmer weather but also a lot of hard work, since the next important deadlines are approaching.
Since the last couple of weeks, our new team members were able to settle in and start their own tasks. The process of manufacturing is ongoing, and our statics are preparing for the events.
Slowly all eyes and focus heads towards the VSV and of course our rollout in June.

To integrate everyone quickly, a welcoming event was organized. Like every semester, we scheduled the weekend with a get-together and an evening playing different games. The following morning, our members could indulge in a typical Bavarian breakfast with white sausages and pretzels.
Finally, all our new members were introduced to our IT Infrastructure to start their journey with High Speed as smoothly as possible.
