...ugins/instagram-feed/img/placeholder.pngY’all are weirdos. Well, some of you are weirdos. Actually, most of you are weirdos. But some of you are really really weird and into bike bits machined from BRASS. (*cough* @monebikes *cough*). After we made some brass Baby Groovy barrel adjusters, we decided to make a batch of brass spring adjusters. These fit any and all of our rim brakes. Maybe this is a one-time thing (they weigh literally 3 times as much as our normal aluminum spring adjusters). Maybe we’ll offer them forever (they do look pretty cool). Either way, you’re weird for even reading this much about brake spring adjusters!
...ugins/instagram-feed/img/placeholder.pngHere’s a little behind-the-scenes peek of our engineers testing the Brompton Racer-M prototype brakes earlier this summer. We sold through the first batch of these in record time, but you can sign up to be notified when they’re back in stock on our website. But... why is Patrick so weird?
...ugins/instagram-feed/img/placeholder.pngIf you haven’t seen @hurrydive ‘s artwork...yes you have! He’s made some amazing posters for @lostandfoundbikeride and he made that epic MARS poster for @ultradynamico and a bunch of other killer art you may or may not have realized was him. He came up with this super cute and relatable froggie bike camping scene for us, so we’re doing a limited run of these BPA-Free Sustain (recycled) Nalgene bottles, live on the website now!
...ugins/instagram-feed/img/placeholder.pngLook who’s back by popular demand! Apparently the bike world is lacking in high quality reverse levers, so we dusted off the program and machined a few of these up. Yep, you can move the stainless pivot between short and long pull. Live on the website... NOW!
...ugins/instagram-feed/img/placeholder.pngAwwww yeah, it’s time for Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship’s annual 5-Bucks-A-Foot fundraiser, and this year you could win a DIPPED @santacruzbicycles Heckler SL! This thing is soaked in XTR, Fox, Reserve, PAUL, and White Industries parts, and YES you do get to choose the size. Every $5 entry goes towards building and maintaining all the amazing trails you may have ridden in Downieville, Quincy, Mills Peak, and more, including the wild Connected Communities MEGA trail network, where they’ve just finished the first section of singletrack between Quincy and Taylorsville. Head over to the @sierratrails website for a chance to win and learn about the absolute BEST trails in California! 🤯
...ugins/instagram-feed/img/placeholder.pngWe had A TON of requests for a PAUL brake that would fit Brompton folding bikes, and after witnessing waaay too many bad and downright dangerous adaptations of our (and other crappy knock-off) brakes, we decided to do something about it. We modified the reach of our cult-classic Racer-M, and added a super stiff sealed-cartridge bearing roller bridge and adjustable trunion to make the most powerful, best modulating, most adjustable brake ever made for Brompton bikes. Yeah, Bromptons are weird, but we’re weird, and you’re weird, and sometimes it takes a bunch of bike-nerd weirdos to machine brakes this good, and that’s what we did! Full length video coming after we get back from @made.bike, but for now these brakes are available on our website.✌️
